The work depicts the forearms of Canadian armwrestler Devon Larrat, with the image scaled to the size of an electronic screen in an attempt to soften its sense of physical aggression. “Pronation” is a term from armwrestling that refers to the movement of turning the palm from up to down to control the opponent’s wrist, which is the core of the contest between two forces.
