Rico Lau Ching Hei (b. 1999) graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Lau uses sketching and painting as his primary creative media. His practice focuses on the representation of human bodies and the way signs function both within and outside pictures. Through blurred, distorted, and restless portraits, he seeks to share the truth with his audience. Lau has also written about various exhibitions and works, with his articles published on the websites of ACO Bookstore, Paratext, and Stand News.
