Rico Lau Ching Hei (b. 1999) is currently a MFA student in the Department of Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His practice is rooted in drawing, focusing on linear construction of the body, and employs stacking, carving, modeling, or cutting in the creative process as metaphors to probe the extended meanings of contemporary bodily imagery. He has also written on various exhibitions and works, with articles published on platforms such as P-articles, ACO Bookstore, Paratext, and Stand News.
